The Rotax MAX Dome opens on July 28 in the former meat market in Linz. What seems at first sight to be a normal kart racing track turns out to be a sophisticated combination of a real-life eKart experience, augmented reality technology and virtual entertainment. The redeveloped Rotax eKart combines analogue racing fun and virtual gamification. An interactive console, a Carrera racetrack, and a refreshment area with a view of the track are all included! The 3,600m² facility makes drivers’ hearts beat faster – above all the extraordinary racetrack, which extends over two levels and has a surprising 50-meter tunnel and interactive features. Its location close to the Tabakfabrik, the innovation and creative economy hub in Linz, means that Rotax is taking the next step towards connecting e-technology and entertainment, to conquering new markets and gaining delighted customers for Rotax. And last but not least, electrically driven karts are the ultimate racing experience, which is the Rotax mantra.
