THE GREAT ROTAX PRIZE AND MORE

Rotax popularity in competitive cycling reaches its height

ROTAX ESTABLISHES ITSELF AS A BRAND

It is not least due to the personal commitment of Rotax founder Gottschalk that the company is able to establish itself in particular as a brand and sponsor in professional cycling and by the end of the 1920s even lends its name to various events. The Große Rotax Preis (Great Rotax Prize) is awarded at events in Dresden and even for distance races between Berlin and Leipzig. Gottschalk quickly realizes that advertising at prestige, well-attended events will pay dividends. Thinking like a great marketer, he is keen to link achievements in professional sport with the quality of Rotax hubs.
