“Forward motion transmission with backward motion braking, specifically a freewheel hub for bicycles with coaster brake, having a tapered coupling socket on the one hand, and brake pads that open by means of an abutment on the other, characterized by the annular spring engaging the brake pads in a conventional manner i.e. by means of eyelets, which protrude from the inner surface of the brake pads in the longitudinal and transverse axes, and through which the annular spring is drawn in such a way that the jaws move slightly in each direction around the points of engagement of the spring and can therefore reach the correct position in relation to the abutments or the inner surface of the hub housing.”

Transmission, according to Claim I, characterized by the fact that the eyelet is punched out of the body of the brake pad to form a depression in the back of the pad, serving as a collecting and dispensing point for the lubricant.
